Eric's Story Series: "Happy New Year"

Speaking of bathroom small talk, just yesterday, I bumped into Carlos at the men’s room. We stood next to each other. "Happy New Year!" "Happy New Year!"  (awkward silence) "Carlos!" "Ah-Huh." "How long, do you think, we can say Happy New Year to each other and be considered wield?" All of a sudden, his face became serious: "That, Eric, depends ... on how long it takes a new year to become old. Say , a month?" I went: "Okay. Let's do it for a month and see what will happen."
