Eric's Story Series: "Happy Family Day!"
I have 2 stories from my childhood – one happy, one sad. The first story was when I was a small boy, I wasn’t fully aware of my sexual identity. I saw the beautiful skirts my sister had and grew increasingly jealous. One afternoon when nobody was around, I put on her skirt. And I convinced my friend Bobby to put on his sister’s skirt, too. Then we came outside and ran wild in all directions like two little monkeys. That was hilarious! I can’t help laughing even today. The second story was that I had a dog that was very loyal to me. He was my friend and my company in good and bad times. Every day he waited at the same spot to see me back from school. One day when I came back, he wasn’t there. I learned that something happened in the morning: one dog in my village became crazy and bit people. Then the production team beat all dogs to death. I cried for three days for my loss. I swore that I would never have another dog for the rest of my life.
