iOS developer
Primary Objectives & Responsibilities:
Include the following; other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for implementing iPhone and iPad applications
- Evaluates designs, determines appropriate architectures, lay outs and styling controls and creates custom controls
- Evaluates complex and multifaceted designs
- Works with other developers on designing architecture and implementation strategy
- Collaborates with other disciplines for the production and delivery of project deliverables
- Assist with service projects to enhance an existing iPod/iPad applications tailored for custom business requirements
- Creates technical solutions according to interaction/visual specifications and client-specific environment
- Provides demonstrations of existing and future versions of the application to existing and new customers
- Supports clients’ development team with answering questions and implementing feedback
- Assists in the technical strategy and approach to implementation through collaboration with development teams
- Answers questions on the capabilities of chosen technology
Experience & Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study (i.e. Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, New Media, Engineering)
- 2+ years iOS development experience
- Past experience with iOS build automation and deployment
- 1+ years of experience in Build, deployment processes and experience in 1 or more Application Servers such as Apache JBOSS, Tomcat, Weblogic and/or WebSphere
- 2+ years of experience in software development life cycle
- 2+ years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
- 1+ years of experience in Design and architecture review
- Strong object oriented development experience
- Experience with enterprise distribution and provisioning- Understanding of MVC pattern and its execution
- Experience with memory management
- General understanding of UI design principles
- Strong understanding of desktop and web UI conventions, and control states
- Strong listening and verbal and written communication skills
